Tivoli Lovely.

Performed by 2nd and 3rd Year Music Theatre students with Music students, Theatre Star were delighted to collaborated with the amazingly talented designer Dann Barber and staff and students at WAAPA on their production of Tivoli Lovely, a new Australian musical comedy by Eddie Perfect .

The feature proscenium curtain, made with IFR fabric in a deep port colour, was finished with a classic gold bullion fringe, and was required to operate in both French action and Butterfly action.

A digitally printed jungle backdrop on IFR fabric was used as an alternate backing within the proscenium, to create a different look in the beautifully rendered proscenium.

Ancient Rome Exhibition at Melbourne Museum.

Theatre Star was proud to collaborate with the Museums Victoria design team to deliver bespoke soft furnishing solutions for their major Ancient Rome exhibition.

Our team manufactured and installed key elements to create an immersive environment for over 250 Roman relics:
• Soft Roman Columns: 14 bespoke columns, each 5.4m tall, were developed in our Melbourne workroom. Made from Cascade IFR Satin, they feature internal LED lighting to act as both architectural features and dynamic light sources.
• White Backdrop Curtains: Using Versateen IFR on curved and straight Mini Tracking, we created a clean, warm backdrop with a custom wave heading that echoes the columns' fluted profiles.
• Black Masking Drapes: Fabricated from Applause IFR, these drapes control ambient light to ensure the collection remains the focal point.
