Join us on Friday February 20, 6 - 8:30pm

RSVP via the events link in our bio.

Wednesday, 10:50am, February 18 - Sunday, 4:00pm, March 1

This exhibition showcases the finalists and winners of the 2025 MAVA art prize. The prize theme was ‘Minimalism & Maximalism.’

On one side, Minimalism embraces restraint, simplicity, clarity, and reduction—where form, colour, and material are stripped back to essentials.

On the other, Maximalism celebrates abundance, complexity, excess, and bold expression—layered details, vibrant palettes, and a sense of overflowing energy.

This prize has encourage artists to respond to this duality in their own way: some may align with one extreme, others may fuse the two, or create dialogue between simplicity and excess.
