Our short (27mins 😁) film 'Saving Matariki' is now on youtube in 4k for your viewing pleasure.

Filmed on Boon Wurrung Country in 2021 this short film for families follows the adventure of 3 cousins who must work together to save the lost stars of Matariki.

When cousins Manaaki, Jackson and Wynetta go for a
sleepover at Nan's they think it will be non stop video games but Nan has different ideas.
Using an ancient map and their wits the kids must figure out the clues, understand the meaning of the nine stars and save Matariki.

Even though NAIDOC 2020 finished on Sunday, here's our latest project that we had the pleasure of creating while celebrating NAIDOC week.

Our tribute song, "Always was, Always will be" was written by an original T'HONI member, a musician and brother, Roly Nikora. Tēnā koe e te tuakana.

We were also blessed to have collaborated with our Yorta Yorta brother, Ralph Hume who contributed to adding some "indigenous flavour". Kia ora Bruz.

To our T'HONI members who contributed hours of creative work to the project even though half of the content wasn't used in the end, thank you! E mihi maioha ana ki a koutou katoa.

Last but not least, we acknowledge all Traditional owners of this land. Ngā manaakitanga ki runga i a koutou katoa ko ngā tāngata whenua, ko mana whenua, ko ngā iwi taketake.

Always was, Always will be... Aboriginal Land!
