These sculptural works talk about movement and growth of cities. The materials, Perspex and concrete, are found to be urban characteristics of our bitumen surroundings.

Artist statement: This work was inspired both by childhood memories of 1970s brutalist architecture and the current Australian travelling landscape.

A graduate from the Academic of Fine Arts in Zagreb (Sculpture), and the Victorian College of the Arts (Fine Arts & Masters of Contemporary Arts), Drasko Boljevic is a multidisciplinary visual artist with a strong background in sculpture and design.

In the 90s, he became recognised for his unique furniture pieces with an edge on vibrant colours and playful designs. His creative roles have extended to working as set designer, prop and puppet maker. Drasko is also well known for his stencil and street art which has been featured in several books in Australia and abroad.

For 21/AD Art & Design Drasko designs and produces each piece with technical ingenuity and sculptural elegance to create timeless modern products which are collectable, remarkable and completely unique.
