Test Flight is a low stress, light touch, supportive context for artists at all stages of practice.

Oscar Lush is an interdisciplinary artist, composer and multi-instrumentalist working across sound, performance and moving image. With a particular interest in the poetry and physicality of analogue processes and technologies—including 16mm film, reel-to-reel tape recorders, and sculptural graphic scoring—he produces immersive, electroacoustic works characterised by the indelible mark of the human hand at play; by new sounds which echo something old.

A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts (2024), he was a 2025 artist in residence for Soundstream's Emerging Composer’s Forum and in 2026 for Speak Percussion’s Bespoke Artists Program. His moving image works have screened both nationally and overseas, including in programs at ACMI and at festivals in France & Switzerland. Prior to his studies he spent over a decade practicing as a singer-songwriter, touring nationally and internationally, releasing multiple solo albums, and performing at festivals including Dark M**o and PANAMA.

Final two performances of The Nervous Atmosphere by Zoë Barry and collaborators at Gasworks Creative Precinct today at 2pm and 7pm.
