What started as a question has become an invitation.

An invitation to take bodies as they are.
To take leather seriously.
And to take joy seriously.

Harness by Horness is stepping into ChillOut with custom harnesses, workshops, wearable art, a fashion show, and a dance party.

Made by hand.
Made with intention.
Made for any body.

This work is about craft and collaboration.
About q***r joy that’s grounded, not performative.

About wearable art that holds, frames, and celebrates the body without asking it to change.

Huge love to Radius Gallery for the space, and to KOSHKA – Art Fuelled Fashion for ongoing mentorship, styling, design collaboration, photography, and for creating the undergarments for the show.

Deep gratitude also to the wider ChillOut community for making room for work that is bold, embodied, and unapologetic.

Some well-intended w**d spraying has accidentally affected parts of the Grove of Gratitude. We’re coming together to gently care for this special space and help it thrive.

Join us for a working bee to support existing plantings and prepare the area for future additions later this year.

Harness by Horness launches at ChillOut Festival with a bold, immersive wearable-art fashion show.
Honouring real bodies and real lives is the reason Harness by Horness exists.

Created by Ballarat artist, Harness by Horness honours real bodies and real lives, reimagining the harness as craft, language, and self-expression.

In collaboration with Koshka garments and lingerie by Vienna Silks, the show brings together leather, cloth, hardware, movement, music, drag, and performance. The runway dissolves into the crowd as DJs, choreography, and audience participation transform fashion into connection.
