From Wellington, NZ, now recently based in Melbourne Ocean is a mover & creative who prioritises feeling and intention within movement. Passionate about creating safe spaces and a fun learning environment, Ocean fuses texture, musicality and feeling to enhance her movement and choreography. With years of training around New Zealand and being immersed in the Wellington dance scene, from teaching open classes, competitive crews, developing dancers, performances and choreographing for shows alongside ‘MoreThanMoves’ faculty, Ocean hopes to inspire and connect with whoever comes into the space.

choreographer, is dedicated to preserving and teaching authentic
African dance, culture, history, and healing through movement.
Having worked with Sampa the Great, Netflix, and Champion, while
teaching across Australia, as well as New Zealand, South Africa, Fiji and
the UAE, Divine continues to build spaces that honour African culture.
More than a dance class, these are immersive cultural experiences where
students will leave with deeper understanding, inspiration, and appreciation
for authentic Afro art - beyond trends and imitation.
Divine’s classes are unique Afro experiences that will educate, uplift, heal,
and transform you.

AUDITION SCHEDULE

🕞 Combined Audition: 1pm – 2:30pm

> VARSITY CREWS
The Varsity Elite team is catered to young dancers seeking high level training with emphasis on perfecting dance technique, power training, stamina and competition based training.
The Varsity Raw Gen is specifically designed for dancers that are eager to train, compete and build towards an elite competitive level.

> INTERMEDIATE PROGRAM
Here we delve deeper into movement quality, grooves, musicality and many other elements of dance. We focus on performance, confidence building and more.

> ADVANCED PROGRAM
The Advanced Program is designed for dancers pursuing a career in dance, as well as dancers wanting to train and develop their skills at an elite level. With a focus on finding your unique movement, dancers learn to execute high movement quality faster while training at an advanced level.

Ages:
• Varsity Crews: 12–17yrs old
• All other levels: 12+ is welcome

This program is catered to beginner dancers who will be introduced to the foundations of dance and music theory with a strong focus on hip hop/street styles. It is a great starting point for those looking to learn to dance or are interested in developing their abilities.

This isn’t just an audition it’s a chance to be part of something bigger.

From Wellington, NZ, now recently based in Melbourne, is a dancer, choreographer and teacher who has a background of foundational styles and uses it to enhance his choreography. MJ favours musicality and groove and implements it into his choreography with intention and rawness. With almost a decade of teaching under his belt, MJ has been immersed in the Wellington dance scene, from teaching open classes, competitive crews, developing dancers, performances and choreographing for shows alongside ‘MoreThanMoves’ faculty. MJ brings the vibes and the fun and is passionate to create a space where everyone can learn and grow.

🚨 POP UP WORKSHOP WITH VANESSA DAI 🚨

is one of Australia's top dancers, known for her powerhouse presence and versatility across the commercial and creative industries. She toured thrice, showcasing her talent globally with Souled Out Festival, Kiana Ledé, and The Dream Dance Company.

Vanessa has brought to life choreography by iconic K-pop choreographers Todd Williamson and Kiel Tutin, contributing to the choreographic process for major K-pop acts including Jisoo (BLACKPINK), aespa, and Hwasa, while also sharing the stage with world-renowned artists like Katy Perry, Robbie Williams, Adam Lambert, Ava Max, and Tones and I.

Her career spans collaborations with globally recognized brands and productions such as Vogue, Nike, Adidas, Women's FIFA, Netflix and JD Sports, cementing her presence at the forefront of the dance and entertainment industry.

A one-of-a-kind artist, Vanessa is driven to share her craft with the world and continue making her mark on the global stage.

🚨 POP UP WORKSHOP WITH CELINA TORRES 🚨

is a Filipina freelance dance artist born and raised in Aotearoa, New Zealand who now resides in Naarm, Melbourne. She has built a diverse foundation in Ballet, Jazz, Commercial and Contemporary Dance. She now mostly explores her practice through Street Dance - particularly in Hip Hop freestyle and choreography.
Blending her unique styles, Celina’s movement fuses natural flow with a grounded rhythmic bounce and rock. Growing up surrounded by R&B (played by her parents and older brothers) has influenced the way she feels and connects to music. Through this music, she finds an expression that feels soulful and rooted.
She continues to train, teach, and perform, using dance as a platform for self-expression and collective growth.
Through her work, Celina is committed to nurturing creativity, identity, and a sense of belonging within the spaces and communities she feels deeply grateful to be part of.
