An inevitable announcement regarding our upcoming season of Ghost Stories in Melbourne.

Due to ongoing COVID-19 implications in Victoria, the 2021 season has been rescheduled to new dates at the Athenaeum Theatre, starting from September 13, 2022.

All affected ticket holders have been contacted by Ticketek via email and will have their tickets automatically rescheduled, with the option to reschedule or request a refund by Friday 1 October, 2021.

We thank the Ghost Stories audience for their support, as well as everyone involved in the production so far, and we look forward to raising the hairs on the back of necks when we open in Melbourne next year.

Co-writers and co-directors, Andy Nyman and Jeremy Dyson, both love the experience of telling people a really good story without them knowing anything about it in advance.

“Secrets are precious, if you give people a secret that they really enjoy and you ask them nicely to keep it, they do.”

Since they first staged the show in London in 2010, the secrets of Ghost Stories remain elusive, as both journalists and audiences have followed their requests.

The usual line: “Ghost Stories is a 90-minute scary, thrill-ride experience about a professor of parapsychology who investigates three cases."

A rattling hour and a half that will make you roar with laughter, leap out of your seats and talk about it for a very long time. And that’s really all you need to know about the specifics of the show; it will make you scream like a banshee and giggle like a schoolchild, probably at the same time.
