Hi Dancers,

Long-awaited news - we have finally found a suitable Hall available to start up a new club! 🥳
- Endeavour Hills Neighbourhood Centre
- 10 Raymond McMahon Blvd, Endeavour Hills
- Friday nights, fortnightly
- 7.30pm to 9.30-10pm
- Plus Level
- $12 a head
- Commencing April 10th!
- Name to be confirmed

In other news, for those who aren't already aware - Colin is also now the Caller at Essendon Square Dance Club on Thursday night.

Hi All
Due to difficulties securing long term full time work in Adelaide Rachel and I will be remaining in Melbourne for the next few years.
I am currently transitioning into a new position at work and will be involved in some odd hours due to meetings with off shore teams in India.
We are currently looking into options for re-opening Activates but it will not be on the traditional Thursday night with fortnightly Friday or Saturday afternoon options being looked into at this stage.

Thank you to all who attended our final nights at Activ-ates and Activ-As. It was great to see so many people there to show their support and everyone had a great night. Thank you also for the cards and gifts. Unfortunately now the club has closed its doors and it is sad, but we will treasure our memories forever. We will also see hopefully most of you elsewhere in the future. Speaking of memories, if anyone has any photos, please send them to either Rachel or Colin.

Hi All,
As announced at both our Club dances this last week Colin and Rachel have made the hard decision to move to Adelaide to be closer to Colin's family. Plans are still being made in terms of the timing of the move with early New Year being the most likely.

As a result of this Activates and Activ-A's will be closing at the end of 2024 with our Christmas Dances being the final dance nights with Colin behind the microphone.

Dancers have asked if there is a chance of another Caller taking over the Calling and keeping the club running - whilst we are not sure this is likely we are open to suggestions / expressions of interest from any interested / available Callers (even if it meant a change to the format of the Club - ie change halls, change nights, change to a Daytime club etc...).

We would like to thank all of the loyal dedicated Dancers for their years of support both for us and for Paula and Wes when they were in control of things - without you all the Club would not have made it to 34 years - there are even a few dancers still dancing from when Brian and Lorraine started the Club!!.

In terms of our involvement in Square Dancing in Adelaide?? Who knows at this stage but I am sure once we get over there and settled in something will happen!!

Thank you to everyone who attended our Activ- Cup, including quite a few visitors! Thank you also to David and Ralph for your calls. It was a great night! Winner of the Cup this year was Charles! I didn't get any photos unfortunately - if anyone has any they are happy to share, please do.
