✨ ADJUDICATOR ANNOUNCEMENT! ✨

We are so honoured to have Xavier Pellin with us for Round 1!

Xavier studied at the Australian Ballet School and gained a Grad Dip. Classical Ballet. His stage credits include Ensemble/Dance Captain in Peter Pan (Crossroads Pantomimes UK), Quaxo/Mr Mistoffelees for the South Korea and Taiwan tours of CATS (GWB Entertainment), Ensemble in Coppelia: The Storytime Ballet (The Australian Ballet), and Lead Male in Human Abstract and The Nutcracker (Louisville Ballet). Xavier’s choreographic credits include A Chorus Line: Teen Edition(Performing Arts Company), Proxy (Louisville Ballet), Assistant Choreographer for Newsies Jr. (Performing Artists Company) and Director and Choreographer for the short film Someone In The Crowd. As well as being teaching his weekly Pro Theatre Jazz classes at London’s Pineapple Studios and The Manor LDN. Xavier is currently performing with Cats Australian Tour as Swing and Dance Captain. Xavier is very excited to be returning to adjudicate the Prestige Dance Awards and seeing all of Melbourne’s talented dancers take the stage!

🌟 ROUND 3 ADJUDICATOR ANNOUNCEMENT - Symiko De van der Schueren 🌟

Originally from Mount Gambier, South Australia, Symiko trained at MJ Dance Studio and Dance Force on the Gold Coast. She then went on to apply herself to full-time dance education as a graduate from Sydney’s ‘Ev & Bow’ Studios.

Symiko was a top 30 finalist on TV series So You Think You Can Dance Australia- season 4. She was also an original cast member of Marko Panzic’s The Dream Dance Company ‘Genesis’.

At age 19 Symiko made her professional debut with the Australian cast of The Lion King, touring nationally. She then went on to perform as a swing with the company of the Shanghai Disneyland production of The Lion King.

Symiko was dance captain/swing with Disney Cruise Line performing award winning shows such as Beauty and the Beast, Frozen and Aladdin.

Symiko tours nationally and internationally as a sought-after choreographer & adjudicator. She is the creator of Soul Dance Retreat, a holistic education program that encourages the mental health and wellbeing of young performers.
