There don’t seem to be any schematics for the Korg PS-3300 but the barely readable PS-3200 schematics cover most of the 3300 circuits. Colour markers help a lot too! If you are interested in the PS-3300 I just posted a reel on Steve’s latest repairs to ours.

Ahead of some international guests in town for this Sunday’s Sound Summit Melbourne, Steve has been busy with some maintenance of our collection. Because it is quite a rare piece I thought I would share a vid of Steve chatting about some minor repairs he did today on our Korg PS-3300. The cracked glass diode pick up was 🥇We hope to catch many of you at Sound Summit.

Congratulations Eva Goudie on the release of Two Lost Eyes. What started as a thoughtful gift from a family friend - to record at SynthTemple - has come full circle with this song release, marking an exciting early step in Eva’s emerging career as a writer, producer and artist. The team looks forward to seeing where Eva’s musical journey takes her from here.

Music education, opportunity and access to inspiring, hands-on experiences are at the heart of SynthTemple, so we were delighted to partner with Collarts when we first opened in early 2025.

Collarts final year Music Production capstone students are regulars in Studio 1, working one-on-one with a teacher to explore and elevate their synthesis and modular practice while producing pieces for assessment.  It’s incredibly exciting to see these students take such big leaps in their learning — particularly when these experiences are helping lay the foundations for their careers in music.

We’re proud to play a small part in supporting the next generation of music makers, and incredibly grateful to Brett Little and the team at Collarts for making this partnership possible.

🎥 We loved seeing Collarts capture what this partnership means to their students.
Thanks for having us, Collarts!

The film “Wilderness” premiered as part of the Melbourne International Film Festival on 11 August 2026. Wilderness was written and directed by Martin McKenna, produced by Martin, Mat Govoni and Lisa Wang and stars Yale Stone and Mirrah Foulkes.

The music score was composed by Robert Murray Jamieson and was recorded at SynthTemple with Andrea Keller on the Yamaha C7X grand piano and various synthesizers, Danny Fischer on drums, Philip Rex on double bass and Anwen Johnston on percussion. Rohan Sforcina was the recording engineer.

Murray notes that “The score moves between two states: hybrid, estranged textures for most of the film, stripping back to something plainly acoustic in the third act. The shift isn’t decorative - it’s structural, tied to what the film itself is doing.”

Congratulations to Murray and all the musicians who shared their talent on the score.

The SynthTemple team sincerely thank Murray, Martin and Mat for having us be part of the journey of Wilderness.

Wilderness will also screen at CinefestOz Film Festival on 3 September 2026.

The first track from Tina Arena’s new album, True Faith, was released on 7 August 2026. The song is a reimagining of the New Order original. Tina’s True Faith has sublime vocals, orchestral arrangements, prepared piano, analogue synthesis and rich electronic textures. The single is an exceptionally moving rendition with a captivating video and can be enjoyed at https://tinaarena.lnk.to/TrueFaith

The Tina Arena 6 track EP, Way of the World, was recorded at SynthTemple and was produced by François Tétaz and Luke Howard. It was a joy and privilege for the SynthTemple team to have been part of Tina’s journey of making her exceptional EP and we can’t wait for it to be released on 16 October 2026.
