Did you know you don’t get a birth certificate? Or a funeral. If they are born before 20 weeks, the birth isn’t even registered.

My partner and I went to the concert in Melbourne last year and got to meet her. And then we found out she was actively miscarrying during the concert. You would never have known.

Why don’t we talk about it?
We know misery loves company, we know the benefit of p*er support and leaning on each other, we know that shame dies when stories are told. So why are we not telling our stories?

This gonna blow up again?

Ok last time I posted this people went nuts about how I said it’s v@gina juices yet c section babies still have newborn smell. So let’s get the facts this time shall we?
The newborn smell is a mix of amniotic fluid (which is basically p*e, a story for another time), p**p, vomit, breastmilk, v@gina juices, blood, dead skin cells, vernix, baby moisturiser, soap, laundry detergent and MOST OF ALL pheromones so that we don’t leave them on the side of the road after they spend all night screaming at us (no, seriously).
