This week I took an excursion to the Yayoi Kusama exhibition at the NGV.

Certainly very interesting to see how other creative minds work. A lot was a bit out of my scope but I’ve taken some photos of a few I really enjoyed. Interestingly my favourite part of the whole exhibit was a funky fish that was just in the corner of a large artwork!

Always good to broaden the mind and the imagination 💭

Scroll through to see my challenge for this weekend, to finish a painting.

They generally take me an age and I want to progress, so I’m trying to simplify things and have a bit of fun. I’ve really been pushing myself recently by getting out of my comfort zone.

First to last is the progress this afternoon, starting with a freehand sketch of a Saluki and Pomeranian. Yes I love dogs, my day job is working with them 😍🐩🐕
