We had such a incredible intergenerational and intersectional conversation about q***r performance at Theatre Works. We could have sat there in conversation for endless hours discussing the slipperyness of what it means to make q***r work.

Midsumma Event with Monica Pearl - Teach In: Assemble, Advocate & Activate .
A look to history and q***r theory to help unleash our inner (or not so inner!) activists. Teach-ins were a key ACT UP strategy, enabling people without formal education or previous knowledge of HIV and AIDS – or activism – to become knowledgeable, and share that knowledge with others in order to speak back to power.
