Creator Atsuko Nishida with the she designed. 💙💚💛🧡❤️

Fun fact: Even though a guy called Satoshi Tajiri created Nintendo’s Pokémon in his 30’s in 1996… it was this lady, Atsuko Nishida that designed and created these characters around her: (left to right Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander, Eevee and Pikachu⚡️). I was torn on who to draw but felt Atsuko doesn’t get enough credit for what she’s achieved. (She hold the Guinness world record for most expensive trading card sold $250k for a Pokémon card she designed and illustrated)

This piece was easily the hardest piece I’ve ever created. Not because of the sketch itself but not one single photo of Atsuko exists!!! She’s like Sia, always hiding her face behind Pikachu plush toys during interviews. I did find a couple of blurry photos and they were shocking to use as references. So for the first time I made it up! I know she’s a private person so would hate that I’ve drawn her face (if it even looks like her haha) so sorry Atsuko but let this be a tribute and honour piece out of respect 😊

Can wait to draw more creators in this series 🥳

Stephen Hillenburg with SpongeBob and Friends 🧽🍍🦀

The creator series is back! ❤️‍🔥 as you know I’ve drawn a few people with the characters they have created around them. This week I’ve drawn the late Stephen Hillenburg who was taken away from the world far too soon. But the legacy he created through his tv show SpongeBob Square Pants not only won multiple Emmys but created a fun escape from reality still to this day. One of my favourite and craziest shows I’ve seen, SpongeBob is still a great show to watch even as an adult. I designed Stephens shirt myself as I wanted to have pineapples (SpongeBob’s home) incorporated somehow haha. I love drawing the cartoon so much I’m going to draw a few more. Tiktok star Bella Poarch 🖤

Bella started tiktok when I did and she’s had so much success with the app she’s now a pop star too. I love her image and it’s a real pleasure to draw her. She’s edgy and almost gothic and I loved drawing her tattoos. Hope you like it and my process video for this is on my tiktok page ❤️‍🔥

Betty White for her 100th birthday!

I planned to draw this legend to celebrate such a huge milestone but we just missed it by less than a month 😔 so this piece is more of a tribute to the late ! I had make sure I captured her smile and sparkle in her eyes. 💫

My drawing ❤️✏️

My first piece of 2022! I wanted to show Selena in her full beauty and couldn’t decide what outfit to put her in so I decided I wouldn’t haha. I’ve never done that before but I like how it turned out. I like her music and she’s got her first Grammy nomination this year and I have a good feeling she might win! Regardless she’s iconic either way. I hope you like it and I’ll post a princess video later this week 🤗

My drawing!

One of my favourite actors of all time so this was such an enjoyable piece to create! After his best actor win at the Oscar’s this year he cemented himself as one of the greats of he wasn’t already. Surprisingly I finished this in one full day when normally it takes a few days to compete a piece. I guess I didn’t get distracted much. I made up his outfit as I wanted something classy but gentlemen like so I think I’ve captured that.

This is the final drawing of the year so I’m taking a mini break and I’ll be back next year. Thanks for all the support everyone has shown towards my artwork this year. Being on the morning show and working with some of the biggest brand have been huge highlights but what really makes me feel good is knowing so many of you know have a piece of my work in your homes. I can’t even begin to find the works to thank every single one of you. I feel very lucky and grateful. Safe holidays and I’ll speak to you next year 🤗

I’ve been a fan of Timothée as an actor for a while but I saw Dune this week and lovveed it! So I wanted to draw him plus I’m putting it out there to the universe to act along side this legend too!!!

Lastly, a MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone who supports me on and helping me hit 1 MILLION followers this week! Feeling super cool and proud 🤓🥳🥳 I’m going yo create on more piece before the new year have a little break and then get stick into it again: big things are already being set for 2022 so I’m excited to share it with you 📺✌️

Buddy the Elf 💚❤️✏️

My favourite time of year means I can draw some of my favourite characters of all time too! Last week I drew the Grinch and this week I’ve finished Buddy from the movie Elf!! It’s hard not to draw Will Ferrell from his other classic films especially step brothers (I wanna draw him with that sweater haha) but I’d argue Elf is his most iconic film role to date.

It was a challenge compared to other pieces as I wanted to show a lot of facial expression and normally I draw a resting face with a slight smile. So to draw the crazy big eyes allowed me to rethink how I see and plan out eyes because for the first time the whites in the eye were above hi iris and pupil. All in all happy with this piece. 🤗

If you are wanting prints for Christmas best get in now as I’m not sure how shipping will go with the huge demand this year plus I’ll be taking a little break for 2 weeks or so so I’ll update you with dates so you’re not wondering why your pieces haven’t been shipped ☺️ thank you for all the support as always… you’re making my dreams come true to be doing what I love 24/7! 🥺❤️

THE GRINCH! ✏️🎄👹

My new drawing leading up to Christmas is none other than Jim Carrey’s version of Dr.Seuss’ The Grinch! He’s one of my favourite characters of all time and unlike my other drawings I really wanted to show he’s unenthusiastic face for the holiday season 🤣 I’ve drawn Jim Carrey twice now and have yet to draw him without green skin (I drew him as the mask last year💚) but it was still a lot of fun to blend greens rather than human skin tones for a change. Let me know what other characters you would like to see for Christmas too 😃

My drawing of the one and only ADELE ✏️🥰 #30

Adele released her album “30” this week and after listening to it I knew who I was drawing next. She really outdid herself and she’s she a talent. I watched her music video for the lead single “easy on me” and thought I want to draw her from that video (swipe left) but half way through the piece I had second thoughts and doubted how long the outfit would last before becoming dated so I redesigned her outfit to be more classic and timeless. I’m glad I chose to go down that path. If I can put ticket’s on myself I’d say this is on of my best drawings I’ve done this year and probably ever!

If you swipe left to the very end you’ll see the last time I drew Adele in 2013 for her “21” era and it’s actually my last black and white drawing I’ve done before more to colour -I haven’t looked back haha! So this piece is sentimental and my celebrating of how far I’ve come with colour 😃🥳
