Happy International Women’s Day!
A huge celebration for all of the women who contribute to our society, past present and future. Who serve our communities. Who have paved the way for those alive today and to those who continue to do so.
To the Mother’s, Grandmothers, Daughters and Sisters. To the wisdom keepers and space holders. To the oracles, healers and priestesses. The midwives, birth doulas, medicine women and those who are remembering. We are women and we are at our core, witches, wise women, way showers.
When one woman speaks up she speaks up for all of those whose voices are not yet strong enough. We are bonded infinitely through the red thread and the power of our wombs. Weaving with grandmother spider in the great web of life.
Know your magick, know you’re magick.
I also want to honour those who have fought tooth and nail to get us to where we are now, and to the women who still are. We continue this sacred work of healing through connection, community and collaboration.
And of course a huge celebration to all of the artists who share themselves and their talent, and who continue to be courageously seen, heard and felt through their craft. What we do is pure medicine for the soul, for the music scene and beyond, and we want to honour and acknowledge that.
