Hi there!

We're Party Line Media, an online multimedia platform that aims to connect the voices of young creatives through comedy.

Born in Melbourne, Australia during the COVID-19 lockdowns, Party Line emerged as a way for co-founders Jacinta Walsh and Charlotte Daraio to numb the bitter sting of isolation (and unemployment). Fed up with the consequential nonsense presented by other prestigious (rightly so) platforms, these crazy kids wanted to add a little zest to the literary scene. And so, fulfilling their womanly duty to society, simultaneously gave birth to this platform to bring you all the best and worst that the local comedy scene has to offer.

We've been busy here at Party Line HQ, building a space where our writing community can share its creative works. Welcoming all forms content, Party Line would love to see work that tickles its metaphorical funny bone; whether it be a satirical comic on the cost of white (privilege) bread, a spoken word piece dedicated to your BOB, or a personal essay about why your cat is afraid of you - we want to see it!

Audio-visual content at this time is particularly encouraged: podcasts, video sketches, graphic art and animation will be considered alongside the traditional mediums of personal essays, poetry and microfiction. Recurring content is up for discussion, please note this in your submission if it would be something that interests you.
