MELBOURNE 2 ADJUDICATOR ✨
We are thrilled to welcome back, the wonderful Andrea Arena for our Melbourne 2 event kicking off tomorrow!
“Andrea began dancing at the tender age of 2 years old! Attending the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School on a dance scholarship, she honed her talent, studying classical ballet. Upon completion of her secondary studies, at the age of 18 she commenced her career in musical theatre landing her first professional role in Wicked the musical. During this time, she had the opportunity to tour Australia and Asia with the company. Her next show, Grease the Musical saw her in her first principal role as Cha Cha and understudying Rizzo, and again saw her travel the world. Following this stint, she landed her first Disney production: the Lion King, shortly followed by her longest running production of 3 years: Aladdin the musical.
Throughout her musical theatre career, Andrea has also become one of the most preeminent names in the Australian commercial dance industry, working for the Logies (Olly Murs), X Factor, Rugby 7’s World Cup Championships in Dubai, Rhonda Burchmore, Dami Im and Anthony Callea.
In addition to her dance career, Andrea has also featured in feature films, television productions and modelling campaigns.
Andrea is now the proud owner of wedding first dance business for Sydney & Melbourne! ✨ 💜
