Proud? You bet we are! Ken has been a vital part of Gippsland FM for some 50 years. There isn’t a task he hasn’t performed, a position he hasn’t held and a presenter he hasn’t met. He personifies volunteerism, typifies generosity and unifies contributions.

A hard core Beatles lover you can also hear Ken on air weekly. A keen ear/eye for station opportunity, our growth and presence in our community is largely due to Ken’s many contributions.

For this we thank you Ken and congratulate you on your nomination.

We've reached the final category in our week of 2026 CBAA Community Broadcasting Awards finalist announcements: Outstanding Station Leadership!

This award recognises individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, effectiveness and commitment to their station.

BREAKING: After the world mourned the loss of Dolly Parton, Actor Tim Curry has passed away tonight aged 80.
Curry has struggled with health issues for a decade following a stroke. Emergency services were called to his residence and he was found Deceased on arrival.

Beloved icon and Queen of country music Dolly Parton has passed away, aged 80. The winner of 11 Grammy awards and countless nominations, she leaves behind a catalogue of classic hits including Jolene, I Will Always Love You and Coat of Many Colours.

Parton will be remembered for her music, her philanthropy and of course her sparkle !
