Hi I’m Clara! There’s a few new faces on here so I thought I was due for a reintroduction. It’s been a while:
❤️‍🔥 I’ve been a leatherworker for 8 years - self taught. I started Black Rose Leatherwork in 2019, based in Melbourne Australia
❤️‍🔥 I’m the sole operator and make everything by hand, no machinery or presses. It can take me days/weeks to finish a piece and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Slow fashion but make it slower.
❤️‍🔥 I make leather alongside a few other things such as my full-time job (which I love) and I’m also a Muay Thai trainer (former fighter 🥲). I constantly wish I had more hours in the day because I love everything I do.
❤️‍🔥 I’m a homebody but love nature, running/hiking and a nice sunset.
