🌟APPRECIATION POST🌟

While I’m still coming off my post-Darwin Fringe high I want to take a moment to give a huge THANK YOU to Hannah Illingworth and her tireless superstar team for the encouragement, speedy support and coordination they’ve provided to myself and other Fringe artists.

Also, my heart is filed with so much gratitude to Ruyi Zhang for being a bad ass, resourceful bar manager. Kisses to you and the rest of the brill staff at Babs.

Many, many thanks to Alana James for her generous spirit, camaraderie, driving skills, emotional support and lodging this broke artist. 😝

I bow down to my delicious VOLUNTEERS: Laurie Keys, Tracey Bugbird and Venaska Carmoni. Your presence gave me so much comfort when I think I would’ve been a nervous wreck if I was by myself.

AND more groveling to my Melbourne Qweens Anne Holloway, Maja Suljevic and Nat Rowe for art curating, costume design, website design and more emotional support (cuz I’m wreck without my support team).

I’m grateful for the successful launch of my first solo art exhibit, and extend that gratitude to those that have in some way supported my art and encouraged me to keep reaching for the stars. Apologies if I’ve missed anyone, but know that I appreciate your presence in my life 💕.

Great news! I won the award for Best Visual Art at Darwin Fringe 2023. So proud of this achievement and chuffed that folks enjoyed getting baptized by the holy Goddess Nectar 💦💦🫦.

So nice of the local media outlet The Territory Australia for the brief interview about my work as an artist. The Top End is truly such a supportive place, and I feel so welcome hosting my first solo exhibit as part of Darwin Fringe 🥰.
