🩰✨ ATOD CLASSICAL BALLET/ JAZZ/ NATIONAL CHARACTER EXAMS 2026 ✨🩰

We were incredibly proud of the way our dancers represented Dance ‘n Dazzle Studio throughout their 2026 Australian Teachers of Dancing (RTO 31624) examinations. They arrived prepared, beautifully presented and ready to give their very best — with the perfect mix of nerves, excitement and plenty of smiles along the way!

Sitting a dance exam is such a wonderful milestone in a dancer’s journey. It gives students the opportunity to work towards a goal, develop discipline and confidence, and continue building the strong technical foundations that will support them throughout their dance training.

A huge thank you to ATOD for providing a syllabus and examination framework that encourages progression and helps us develop strong, technically beautiful dancers. Thank you also to our wonderful examiner, Mrs Predl who flew down from Brisbane, for creating such a warm and positive examination-day atmosphere for our students. 🩰

And of course, a very special Thankyou to our wonderful teachers, Miss Kyara, Miss Scarlett and Miss Corynne for the time, care and dedication that went into preparing each of our dancers.

Congratulations, dancers — you should be very proud of the work you put into getting to exam day. Now we will wait patiently for the results.

So proud of all our Tap students who got their LGTDA Tap Examination results back today.

Meet our ATOD Examiner for next Sunday - Mrs Predl who is coming from interstate to examine our beautiful students.

Meet Examiner Mrs Hayley Predl ✨
Warm, supportive, and passionate about nurturing confidence, Mrs Predl brings positivity and purpose to every exam day.

Q: What’s your favourite way to make students feel comfortable during exams?
A: My favourite way to ensure students feel comfortable during exams is to welcome each student with an encouraging smile as soon as they enter the room. A warm smile puts everyone at ease and I love to remind students how lovely their smiles are and how important presentation is, in your exam.

Q: What values do you hope to pass on to dancers through the exam process?
A: I hope to pass on the important values of self-discipline, dedication, resilience, accomplishment and empowerment. A strong work ethic and a ‘never give up’ attitude will go a long way in the study of any dance style. The examination process helps every dancer to solidify their dance goals and passions through a sense of self belief and achievement as they move through the levels.

Q: Rehearsals or Performance?
A: As a dancer, I loved both. I enjoyed putting new choreography up on stage at rehearsals and in performances, the excitement and joy of performing for an audience was exhilarating. As a studio teacher/director, rehearsals were exciting to see a piece come together on the stage and performances were a wonderful culmination of all of your hard work.

Q: What style of dance do you enjoy watching the most?
A: I love going to a traditional ballet performed by a beautiful company like The Australian Ballet - there is nothing like watching Coppélia or Sleeping Beauty or Don Quixote - the music and the traditional repertoire is just so captivating. I also love an exciting musical theatre production or an original commercial show. I absolutely love seeing my former students dancing professionally, no matter what style.

Known for her encouraging smile and love for dance, Mrs Predl helps students shine with confidence and pride. 💙
