Last night’s exhibition at Mudwood Studio.
I had the privilege of exhibiting a piece at the Mudwood Studio exhibition ... a unique and inspiring event that brought artists and writers together in creative collaboration. His words speak powerfully of love, stability, and the calm within chaos .. the grounding force we find in someone we trust.

Eye of The Storm
You are the eye of my cyclone, the centre that is still and calm,
While everything else is in turmoil and being blown in every direction, I know that you are there, ready and able to hold me,
To keep me from being pulled away, thrown into the chaos all around, You are the one who holds me tight, whispering into my heart,
That everything will be alright, that I am home in your presence, Apart we are two, but together we are as one,
Hand in hand we will walk through life and keep the storm at bay,
For you are the one that keeps me calm, you are my centre,
My relief from despair, you are the one who loves me,
I want you to know, that I love you with everything I have,
My soul, my heart, and my mind, is yours for as long as you want, You are the eye of my cyclone, the centre that is still and calm,
While everything else is in turmoil and being blown in every direction, Your love protects me, as my love will protect you.

The painting “Global Injustice” honors Aunty Ivy’s lifelong commitment to healing and transformation.
• 14 roots represent seven generations before and seven generations ahead, reflecting her duty to heal across time.
• A turtle symbolizes Mother Earth, a reminder to protect all life.
• Ten energy layers represent deep healing and the power of Indigenous medicines.
• Spearheads honor her warrior ancestors, symbolizing Indigenous resilience and the fight to protect sacred knowledge and lands.
• Eyes within the painting represent the unseen—ancestral presence, spiritual guidance, and the deep wisdom that watches over humanity’s path.

Aunty Ivy is leading a global movement to restore justice, heal communities, and ensure Indigenous wisdom guides the future. The time to act is now.

Aunty Ivy Smith is a globally respected healer and guardian of ancestral wisdom. From a young age, she has dedicated her life to restoring balance, justice, and healing. As a trusted Indigenous advisor voicing TRUTH to world leaders, including the United Nations, she bridges ancient wisdom with modern solutions to protect the vulnerable and ensure a sustainable future.

As the Founder of OUR Foundation in Amsterdam, she has pioneered an Ancestral Well-being Model in Europe, educating leadership with ecological solutions. Her work includes healing trauma support, and global summits calling for urgent action to restore lands, waters, our food systems and cultural autonomy.

Her vision is to establish Ancestral Intelligence Academies worldwide sacred spaces preserving Indigenous knowledge to heal trauma, addiction, and disconnection.
