Wow!!! What a weekend!!!
Tunes for Trees swept through the Cheese Factory on the weekend like a little climate loving whirlwind, filling the place with music, laughter, and the kind of good vibes that make you believe the world might just be alright after all. The artists were brilliant, the crowd was gorgeous, and if joy could plant trees, we’d have a forest by Tuesday! 🌳
A huge shout out to Mount Barker District Council for dreaming up such a beautiful event for Climate Action Week, which also supports this unique venue and the artists who dwell and play within.
Many thanks to the fabulous lineup who lit up the factory - Naomi Keyte + Grace, Loren Kate, Dave McEvoy Trio and Mélange Latino, you all made The BIG Room hum. Jedd Oster‑Ives filled the cafe with his melodic piano playing and Natalie Ermer got the crowd weaving their voices together with the pop-up choir. Magic!
And of course, a cheeky bow to our behind‑the‑scenes heroes - Mike, Dave, Tanya, Zac, Jake and Aria, who kept everything running smoother than a freshly‑polished milk vat. Absolute legends. And thanks to Judith, our wonderful neighbour and avid supporter for the photos ❤
Many hearts are full. Many trees will be planted. And the Cheese Factory is still smiling 😊
