Kerri McDonald, Artist/Author I love to create ... This page is all about KezArt Creations - my art and my writing Kerri was born in NSW, raised and educated in QLD, and moved to WA in 1986.

After twenty-five years in the IT industry predominately as a project manager, she escaped from city-life with her husband Dave, and moved to a farm in southwest WA. There she discovered a passion for writing children's stories after watching their city-bred poodle confront a sheep for the first time. She completed a Masters in Creative Writing through the University of Canberra. Kerri and Dave mo

ved back to sunny Queensland in 2011 with their scallywag dog, Cassie. Her entry in the 2014 CYA competition from Knight Flyer won first prize in the Chapter Book category. Time Conspiracy, her entry for the 2012 CYA competition, won third place in the Chapter Book category. She has also had several short stories published in an anthology called, When Pelicans Turn Blue, with a small group of writers in Noosa.

It's been awhile ... this is the first painting I've done for about 18mths due to a few "life challenges". I did this acrylic painting as a tribute to our little dog Cassie (Cassiopeia) who passed away in July 2020. You might notice a her soft face in the moon to watch over us. Hoping to get back into my art more now.

A bit of a different one ... acrylics on canvas (12"x12"). This is Claude Monet's famous garden in Giverny, France. We visited it 3 years ago almost to the day. Beautiful place and I hope I did it justice! My version of a demo done on YouTube by WowArt.

Just did this little guy. Haven't done any watercolours for awhile, so it was fun. Might take him along to the Artastic Sale that's on at Wallace House this weekend. Lots of great art for sale there. I've got quite a few of my other pieces for sale too.
