Mataranka Homestead is located right next to Elsey National Park, between two beautiful rivers – the Waterhouse River and the Little Roper River – both well known for barramundi fishing and a wide variety of freshwater fish. Mataranka Homestead is open all year round, offering outback accommodation, a bistro and bar, and during the high season (Easter to late September), guests can enjoy live music and entertainment six nights a week. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, and our large reception area stocks essential supplies, souvenirs and fishing gear.
