The Brandenburg returns to the stage with a truly historic concert experience NOT to be missed🤞 Mozart, Salieri & Pleyel pairs the familiar brilliance of Mozart's beloved Symphony No. 39, with two recently recovered gems that audiences have the chance to hear live for the first time: the Australian premiere of Antonio Salieri's Sinfonia and the world premiere of a recently unearthed concerto by Ignaz Pleyel, performed by Principal Baroque Bass Robert Nairn.

A roaring finale brought Brisbane to a rousing crescendo last night before the fateful curtain came calling to conclude our breathtaking series of Vivaldi's Legacy 💐🙌

Whilst many are feeling the loss of a modern music legend today, what better way to recognise the beloved Smoky Mountain Songbird than by celebrating the endlessly talented women who brought this series to life with boundless finesse and phenomenal artistry:
🎭 A very special thanks to our guest creative team Lilian Alejandra Valverde, Poppy Townsend & Alana Valentine 👏✨
🎶 Alongside featured soloists Melissa Farrow and of course our superb star violinist & Guest Director Augusta McKay Lodge! 🤩👏

Last night was pure sensation at City Recital Hall, Sydney for the premiere of Vivaldi's Legacy! 🎻🙌

There wasn't a soul in the hall not completely mesmerised (us too!) by the effortless virtuosity of our special guest Augusta McKay Lodge 🤩 She sure makes gut strings sing like nothing short of a miracle! 💫

Not to mention the visceral emotion and sensitivity from our spirited guest Actor Lilian Alejandra Valverde, who swept us up in a dramatic journey with a whole new depth of colour 👏💐
.. Anna Maria would've loved it!
