this is an event by musicians, for musicians. It’s a judgement free zone for us to meet each other, network & share the songs we’re working on to give each other constructive feedback

Bring your guitar and share a tune, bring your laptop and share a mix - anything that’s still a WIP. We’ll provide the mics, aux, food & comfy chairs

important news for you!

we have a new booking system called Jammed. This means 3 things, pls read on:

1) the studio numbers have changed! Studio 1 is now the middle room (what you’ve known as studio 2). And studio 2 (front room) is now studio 1. Bc you know, it’s the first one as you walk in the building. Studio 3 (furthest room back) is coming soon 🏗️

2) you can now book rehearsal slots that are anywhere between 1-8 hours long! We used to do only 3 hour slots & we still will keep the 3 hour slots in some instances; please see below for how this works now:

MONDAY-FRIDAY, 9am-6pm:
$20 / hour - 1-3 hour long booking
$18 / hour - 3-6 hour long booking
$16 / hour - 6-9 hour long booking

MONDAY-FRIDAY, 6pm-12am:
$20 / hour - 1-6 hour long booking

SATURDAY-SUNDAY, 9am-12am (all day):
$20 / hour - 1-9 hour long booking

3) Jammed works best on laptop/PC browser or the phone app! The phone mobile browser is not great - it can be glitchy. We do not recommend. We recommend downloading the app to your phone for a smooth booking experience 🧮

we wanna have this tiered pricing because we love when yall book in for long hours & we want to keep our prices low and affordable for you, true to the pleb philosophy 🫧

Happy 2026 sweet angels! Shorty here. I hope santy claws brought you lots of My Chemical Romance songbooks and Missy Higgin's CDs for grinchmas.

We have lots of exciting things planned for the year but firstly it is my great pleasure to intro you to our new Studio Manager, Gabi.

Gabi is a fellow pleb who writes, sings and plays guitar in her band Gailla. She has a background in community music/ youth advocacy. Gabi is passionate about the local music scene and loves the pleb city community. She loves building community from the ground up, keeping Sydney weird and affordable. Community music is dear to Gabi's heart - she is a big believer in grassroots organisations and the power of the collective to create art together.

Gabi will be starting immediately and she can't wait to meet as many of you as possible! Her main days in the studio are Mondays and Thursdays.

Here's to a massive year for our scene. Be good to each other kiddos, peace love and zooper doopers, from the Pleb City crew ♥️♥️♥️
