Exhibition of original works Fri 5th, have an opinion, buy some genuine original local art. Bring some friends and make a night of it. .. I told some people they could bring there works in on Wednesday to the drawing class, so just make sure you have signed up online and no one needs to get hurt. Doodler.com.au

Closing Soon. Nearly all of the questions I’m getting are explained if you read the text. As for the exhibition itself. I will do everything I can to exhibit and auction all of the entries on the night. I need physically delivered entries though. It helps if you know the Doodler space and methodology (ha), but this has gone somewhat viral. Obviously as we are shooting from the hip here, if over the next 5 days I receive 1000 entries I will have a logistical issue. That said, I will find a way to work it out, even if we require a part 2. You guys just get your anger in physical art form and get it in to 9 Fitzroy St Marrickville (now -June 2), but lodge your entry online by May 31. Then I will cope with what I’ve got. This is a rough and tumble Doodler style exhibition/auction, so don’t ask too many questions. Entry is $20 (doodler.com.au on events calendar). I need title/artist/any details/reserve price supplied in digital form to my email, as well as the artist/title on the rear of the work. Works supplied without wiring for wall hooks will be handled as best I can. The exhibition will be confined to the front gallery space so that is your answer regarding work sizes etc. There will be a winner judged by the entrants. I’ll clear out the gallery in the weeks leading up to the exhibit so tell me you are doing it but just bring your work in and we’ll put it up. First in best dressed, and nothing at all accepted after June 2. Whilst we are a fun family establishment, we are a family of drunk sailors, so be prepared for varying opinions and adult concepts.
