Dear Gorgeous Ballet Families,

It is with a heavy heart that I have to let you all know that Big Top Ballet will not be returning to the studio.
The increased logistical burden of operating with covid has made the continuation of our classes unviable.
We can't begin to tell you how disappointed and sad we are that our toe pointing ride with you all has come to an end. It has been a magical journey and a privilege to watch and grow with all the little ballerinas. Your friendship, support and the fabulous community that grew around Big Top will be something that we will always miss, and fondly cherish.
In the coming weeks we will host a little ballet farewell which we hope you can join us for.

Gorgeous Ballet Families!💖

I can hardly believe we have reached the final week of term 2! What a ride, filled with fun and laughter and toe pointing. Thanks again for your joy and enthusiasm as we dance!🌈💃

WE WILL BE BACK IN THE STUDIO ON TUESDAY THE 13TH OF JULY.

I must also say Vale, Lucette Aldous AC, enigmatic teacher at WAAPA where I trained and icon of dance in Australia. Generations of dancers in Australia carry her legacy in their bodies, and watched her in awe as she continued to dance on pointe until 80. We are delighted to let you know that we have just welcomed a little girl, Michal Avice, a little earlier than planned. Both Ingrid and little Mikki are doing well and we are looking forward to introducing you.
There may be some variation to our classes over the remaining weeks of term as the delightful Carolyn has offered to lead classes as needed. I can't wait to hear of the gorgeous adventures her wonderful imagination takes us on.

Kind thanks for all your support this year, it has been such a pleasure and a privilege to share toe pointing fun with you virtually and especially in the studio. The happiness you bring our little family is the best. 💐💖🤗
We are delighted to announce that we will be back in the studio for Term 1 2021, on Tuesday January 26. We can't wait!!! If you have the brain space, please shoot me a message to reserve a spot in your preferred class. Term 1 will be 8 weeks only as we will finish up around Ingrid's due date (babies never come early, right!?!?).💃🕺

Term 4 leaps into action this week! We are dusting the sand off our toes and looking forward to getting back into the studio!💃🦄🌻
Please help keep us all healthy and dancing by:
⭐Not attending if you or you child is in any way unwell
⭐Only one grown up per enrolled child
⭐Adults must maintain 1.5m social distancing
⭐No eating in the studio
⭐Wash hands and use hand sanitizer regularly
⭐Please arrive no more than 5 mins before the start of class

Without further ado🥁🥁🥁BIG TOP BALLET is back rocking, rolling and wiggling in the studio tomorrow! ✨🎉Please help us all stay safe and keep us dancing by following the conventions of social distancing in the following ways:
💥If you or your child feel in any way unwell please do not attend class. We are happy to arrange credit etc so please do approach us if required.
💥Only ONE adult per child enrolled remaining in the studio during class. It is most important that adults maintain social distancing even though kids may frolick.
💥Our studio can accommodate a maximum capacity of 26 people. If your little one is comfortable and confident please consider volunteering to have a coffee or run some errands during class.
💥Please bring a water bottle for your ballerina, as the kitchen facilities are currently unavailable.
💥Please do not eat in the studio.
💥Make use of the hand washing and sanitation facilities upon arriving and as required.
💥Arrive no more than 5 minutes before class, and vacate the studio as quickly as possible at the end of class. Consider wearing ballet clothing under some wollies to help speed this up.
⚡️We are taking measures to sanitise props and toys between classes, and doing our best to keep everyone safe while maintaining fun and magic for little ones.

Dear Big Top Ballet Families,
In amongst all the upheaval I just wanted to let you all know that our classes are still running as scheduled. I am giving a lot of consideration to this and at present I am deciding to continue dancing as schools and preschools are still operational. Please do be judicious where grandparents or other vulnerable community members are concerned. We have stepped up cleaning of the studio, and soap and paper towels are in the bathroom, so please do make use of these facilities. As always I am happy to offer make up classes that you can utilise in later terms if you need to self isolate.
