I wanted to share "Bush Light." Vertical ribbons of teal and ochre move through a shadowed navy field, with pockets of pale aqua and cerulean that glow like submerged light. Darker bands suggest depth and upward motion, while a clustered, floral-like form in warm honey sits against the cool blues, its looping lines adding a delicate structure. Flecks of white and subtle spatters trace paths between layers and areas of layered color reward a closer look. Untitled III opens with a warm halo of peach and gold that melts into teal mist, a pale bridge silhouette arching over still water. To the right a lime-green bird perches on a curling violet branch whose leaves read like notes on a staff, while layered greens and aquamarine gather along the edges. I find the cool blues and purples at the margins make that central glow feel quietly hopeful and calm. Oceanic blues and sunlit ochres move through layered planes, with coral-red blooms and pale pink petals as small, lively accents. Curving lines and looping marks suggest botanical silhouettes while dark indigo masses anchor the composition. Shifts between translucent and denser areas give the eye places to rest and paths to travel. I like how it brings color and quiet energy to a wall — see it here: https://www.almetaartwork.com/warehouse-open-edition-prints/art_print_products/abstract1

I noticed three black cockatoos perched among gum leaves and clusters of gumnuts against a pale blue sky. One lifts a nut to its beak, another tilts its crest in profile, and the third watches from a higher branch, a quiet trio of interaction. The dark plumage with subtle speckling and small flashes of red at the tail stands out against warm ochre leaves while rounded seed pods add a steady rhythm across the composition. Soft light picks out pale beaks and glossy eye reflections, and the diagonals of the branches guide where the eye moves. There’s a calm, observational quality here that feels both composed and lively. Sunlight fills a forest glade where two women lean back-to-back, their white dresses standing out against ferns and tall trunks. One tilts her head with an easy smile, the other returns the grin, and those small gestures feel like shared trust rather than something posed. Vertical trunks lift the eye while layered undergrowth keeps the scene grounded, and warm highlights balance the cooler greens so the moment feels calm and alive. I think it brings a quiet, welcoming energy to an entryway or living room.
