Festival Lovers... A heartfelt thank you from all of us at Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival for being part of our story! 🩷

Our team of staff, interns and volunteers (some of who you see above) carry the title of WA's largest literary Festival with great pride!

When you make a contribution, be it large or small, it helps ensure the Festival remains a place where world-class literary events are shared, emerging voices are brought to life and connections are made.

THIS FRIDAY... Mick Herron of the 'Slow Horses' series is coming to Margaret River!

Join international bestselling author in-conversation about his new release, Clown Town, the latest novel set in the world of Slow Horses. Tickets via link in bio or at https://tickets.mrrwfestival.com/Events/Clown-Town-Mick-Herron-in-Conversation-Margaret-River-

πŸ“Nala Bardip Mia - Margaret River HEART
πŸ“… Friday, 29 May at 6:30pm (doors and bar open from 6pm)

Returning to Slough House, Herron reunites readers with the unforgettable Jackson Lamb and his team of disgraced MI5 agents as they are drawn into another mess of institutional failure, hidden agendas, and political farce. As ever, incompetence proves as dangerous as malice. Best known for the Slow Horses series β€” now a global TV sensation β€” Herron brings his trademark wit, moral bite, and dark humour to a story that skewers power while delivering a tightly wound, unsettling thriller.

Q&A and book signing will occur after the author talk.
Hosted by Will Yeoman

All ticket holders will receive a glass of Clairault Streicker wine or non-alcoholic beverage from Waves & Caves on arrival.

The Busselton Book Festival was a whole lot of fun.

I was lucky enough to be there over the weekend to capture the talks, the laugher and the emotion.

SHOUT OUT & THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS!

Behind every incredible Festival moment is an extraordinary team of people making it happen. Arts Margaret River is powered by a sensational crew of 200+ volunteers and we extend our deepest appreciation and gratitude to every single one of them.

You are the backbone of our Festival weekend and your contribution stretches far beyond those few magical days each year. Throughout the year, you help bring an incredibly jam-packed calendar of arts and community events to life within the walls of Nala Bardip Mia - Our Story House πŸ“šπŸ

Our volunteers do so much more than wear a cool t-shirt :)
You welcome guests with warmth, solve problems on the fly, move furniture, pour wine, polish glasses, scan tickets and help create the vibrant, connected community spirit that makes these events so special.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your time, your energy, your care and your unwavering commitment to the arts in our region.

Quite simply... we could not do it without you!
