Not all Wagyu is Kobe Wagyu. And that’s what makes it so special…

Raised under some of the strictest standards in the world, authentic Kobe beef comes from the Tajima strain of Japanese Black cattle raised in Japan's Hyōgo Prefecture. Renowned for its extraordinary marbling, tenderness and rich, melt-in-your-mouth texture, only a small number of cattle meet the strict criteria required to earn the Kobe name each year.

For one special Cabin Fever evening, Sensei Miki returns to share the story, traditions and flavours behind Kobe Wagyu, guiding guests through an authentic roving feast designed to showcase exactly why this legendary beef has earned its reputation.

Settle in by the fire for an evening exploring the French influence behind McHenry Hohnen’s winemaking philosophy, from balance and longevity to wines that truly speak of place.

The evening will begin with a tasting of the newly released Blanc de Blancs. Then, guided by head winemaker Jacopo Dalli Cani, you'll taste French classics alongside McHenry Hohnen varietals, paired with a three-course farm-to-plate feast by French chef Nicolas Delorme.
