Four on the Floor recently made its debut at Riversmith and it was a cracker of an evening. Huge love to our speakers Tim Kerr - Brainstorm Design, Martine Perret - Martine Perret Photographer, Katharina Keil - Kat Productions and Noah Coffey - Coffey Captures for giving us an insight into their creative journeys - we’re already planning the next one.

🎨 Calling all local artists! 🎨

We’ve got an exciting opportunity to create high-visibility public artwork in the heart of Margaret River. ✨

We’re inviting Expressions of Interest from local creatives to design a series of banners that celebrate the festive season in a way that is meaningful to our community.

The successful artist 👩‍🎨will run one to two creative workshops with school-aged children, with their ideas brought together in professionally finished banners installed along Margaret River’s main street in the lead-up to Christmas and throughout the peak tourist season. 🎄✨

WAM is launching an Industry Advisory Committee in 2026 and EOIs are now open! 🌟

This committee will allow for greater transparency for WAM along with meaningful input from across the contemporary music ecosystem to inform WAM’s activity, events and advocacy.

The committee will meet around 4 times per year, and broadly will:

• Advise WAM on trends, challenges and opportunities facing the contemporary music sector.
• Inform the design and evaluation of WAM’s programs, research, events and policy initiatives
• Be a consultation mechanism for WAM’s major event planning, including WA Music Week, WAM Awards & Song of the Year
• Assist in the development of WAM’s advocacy agenda, lobbying, election activity and priorities.
