Today I’ve released an old album ‘The Elements of the Soul’
5x tracks, each song represents an element either by an experience or feeling!
Fire-Air-Earth-Water-Ethan
The idea came from hiking through the Himalayan mountains and learning about the Nepali Prey flags where each colour flag represents an element, so I wrote a song for each element.
1. Black Snow is actually ash falling from the sky from a distant bush fire during a sunset ash storm
3. Mountain is about a mountaineering trip in Peru which started off well but went pear shaped , then back to good again.
In Mexico I found a local crew of brilliant musos who together we whipped this up in a few days. Instruments including Spanish guitar , cello, flute , saxophone, Cajon , bass (with cello and sax my highlight )but we never did anything with it as the technology wasn’t there. Now it is , and here it is ..
