The ever organically evolving Jazmine theme was originally formed in Darwin back in 2011, under an original indi rock band ‘Jasmine Revolution’. Latin Jazmine evolved when singer songwriter Alex Moraitis [Founder/Director of JAZMINE PRODUCTIONS] tra
velled Latin America and then met & married the talented Alpha Cisne, Mexican Singer, Theatre Actress and Dancer. The new collaboration formed a fusion of Latin Cultural Music , performed live with theatrical energy , beauty, charisma and with Australian musicians. Latin Jazmine have been entertaining venues, cultural and private events with a Latin language and sound that put smiles on faces and bodies dancing. Jazmine Productions, like flowers from a Jasmine tree, continues to grow and evolve into multiple forms of entertainment and cultural collaborations. In 2017 within Darwin JAZMINE PRODUCTIONS, entertaining as the Theatrical Group “Telon de Jazmine”, produced a unique and beautiful musical theatre called ‘Los Elementos Del Alma” (Elements of the Soul) and presented the show twice to a sold out Browns Mart Theatre and to a very emotional and inspired Seabreeze festival crowd. This fusion included Spanish monologue, written by Alpha Cisne, and original music written & performed by Alex Moraitis and local Darwin band including special guest Dave Spry.
