The joke continues

Australian breakdancer Rachael Gunn is demanding $10,000 in legal expenses from the proprietor of a small Sydney comedy club that planned to produce a Raygun-inspired musical.

The musical, written by comedian Stephanie Broadbridge, was cancelled just hours before the premiere after promoter Anthony Skinner was sent a court notice claiming the production infringed on the Olympian's intellectual property.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone. We have moved to Muswellbrook (from Queensland... where we had been forced to go to after a builder at Urunga went bankrupt, owing us over $400,000)... anyway, that's old news. We are closer to the 'Country Music Capital' again..... so maybe there is hope.....

Tahlia and Ingrid Racz were on the Country Music Talent Quest circuit throughout NSW between 1996 and 1997, and met dozens of emerging artists, and many have succeeded in their chosen path on their journey. Felicity Urquhart, the McClymonts, Darren Coggan, Richie Gudgeon.
On the way they met young Luke Newland from western Sydney, who sadly left this realm in 2001 after an MVA.

These are the only photos I have of Luke from those days, so post them for his family & friends. There are also videos, but I'll need to retire from nursing fully to give me time to find and convert those. Luke died on the 18th of October if I remember rightly. He had a happy and wonderful spirit (and a very bright set of shirts!!).

Early days of Australia's Martin Lass

Although I didn't watch it, apparently, I got a mention at the Australian Logie Awards when they did a tribute to the late Bert Newton.
This is a picture of when I first won the Bert Newton's New Faces show/competition, which is where my career in popular music began! Bert supported me all the way after this, God bless him. Rest in peace now. You did more than can be estimated for so many in the industry.

Found some photos from my sister, buried in an old 2009 folder. The event was "Folk in the Foothills', by the Illawarra Folk Club, and the guest artists were 'Racz and Waters' (award-winning singer-songwriting trio - had won ASA Award for Best Australian Song, and also Best World Song... as well as many other awards) - Aussie legend Ted Egan was at the event, and was actually a mentor to Tahlia and Ingrid during the Talent Development Project days in 1999.
