Capital B, Roovus, and Belgrave Cartel present Artist Alan Streets - A retrospective psychedelic adventure in art. With a background steeped in urban sub-culture and having spent 10 years working as a plein-air artist in New York City, Alan Russell-Cowan better known as Alan Streets is one of the few foreigners to have gained bonafide street celebrity status in the U.S. As the subject matter for the acclaimed documentary ‘My Name Is Alan And I Paint Pictures’, Alan’s definitive city scapes became recognised and respected globally, whilst his surreal works continue to be sought by private collectors globally; some of his finest work currently hangs in the infamously provocative Nicholas Treadwell Gallery, Austria.

Opening night - Wednesday March 18, from 6pm. Belgrave Cartel - 6 Belgrave St Manly. Wine and nibbles from 6pm til 8pm.
Show runs for 2 weeks, open for viewing at the Belgrave Cartel 7 days a week.

Alan Streets, is a renound plein-air artist based in London. Born in 1969, Streets remembers drawing intensely from the age of 5. embracing his not-so typical life, Alan obtained a celebrity status while in living and painting in New York city, where streets and his works became well known to galleries and art curators.
Alan specialises in producing bespoke works with a particular penchant for adding his own architectural twists and psychedelic imagery.
