Nerokomi trinket plates. Happy with outcome but would have liked the glaze to be a clear Matt. Nerokomi is taking different colours of clay and layering them together to form a block which is left to sit covered in plastic fora week or so before opening and slicing to reveal a pattern. My aim here was to keep the layers a little organic, but the shape is definitely not organic

It has been awhile since my last post.. pottery has had to go into storage as we moved houses and are now residing 70 km south of Perth at Dawesville. Fingers xxd it’s not too long before I get back into the mud but in the meantime have had to find something to keep me sane… trying new things and enjoying the variety.

Just discovered slow stitching and starting to fall in love with it. Following K3N and managed to make this little pouch from great tutorial

Scaffito plate. I love carving randomly. Very mindful and rewarding to me. This was taken from my kiln on Monday afternoon but I have just now really had the me to appreciate how happy I am with the result.
