This documentary by Nandita Chakraborty Author and Niru Tripathi follows four unsung migrant heroes in regional Victoria (highlighting the towns of Dimboola and Nhill) who open their kitchens to a travelling film crew. What begins as a quest for connection becomes a deeper exploration of migration, identity, resilience, and shared humanity through food. The screening will include an exclusive look at the work-in-progress film along with a live Q&A session.

More BTS this time My Eyes with actors Kieu Chinh, Adam Garcia, Eduardo Avila, Tsu Shan Chambers and Nia Rush with the stella producer Judi Levine coming onboard to get it to the finish line. A fun time on this film in a multi-crew role as rehearsal coach-dramaturge, set coach and intimacy coordinator. Another independent film made possible by the incredible contributions from crew and cast.🙏💕

BTS shots as IC on psych thriller Girl At The Window directed by Mark Hartley starring Radha Mitchell, Ella Newton, James McKay, Vince Colosimo, Karis Oka, Lauren Goetz, Lach Millar. Fantastic fun on this with lots of physical special effects, cups of blood and goo, ugg boots, and rainy cold night shoots.

Lava Lamp - S*x Scenes - Night Shoots - great to be back on set for this indie Australian thriller. 🙏💕

For those interested. Filming s*x scenes and s*x & violence is for me an exercise in problem solving to capture the visuals for storytelling, camera coverage for the edit, while creating performance that is shaped for believability, technical practicality, safety and welfare. IC for screen is not just simply performance shaping and modesty garment arrangement or working with costume, or doing risk assessments and comprehensive welfare coverage or working with stunties, its also knowing the craft of visual storytelling from camera to lighting to sound, its working with the DOP and Director and Sound to capture the performances in a way that further illuminates the director’s vision. IC is a unique crew role where a highly skilled IC will work with departments to elevate these scenes and streamline these shoots. 🙏💕 Photos: Faces blurred for privacy.
