Hi all, who would be keen if we tried to get a semi-regular "Combat Patrol" gaming day/night going, either 400 or 500 point armies with a modified FOC, probably hosted somewhere like House Of War

I'll brainstorm (or just blatantly steal...) some rules and guidlines tomorrow, and get them posted here for you all to peruse & offer suggestion

It is with heavy hearts that we must inform you that after several years of declining membership and attendance, Phoenix Games Association have voted via Special Resolution to close - this is not a decision we have taken lightly, and numerous options were raised and debated at length yesterday at our AGM; but in the end we felt it better to go out on our own terms.

Please stay tuned for an overhaul of the page in the not-too-distant future to become a brand new portal for discussions & meetups, as well as organized meetups at some of our favorite FLGS (such as The House of War and General Games).

Afternoon guys, since we're not running an 'official' session this weekend due to Queen's birthday and Terracon - we're looking at running an informal get-together at either House Of War or General Games, on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday.

let us know when and where you prefer, and what you'd want to play (40K/X-Wing/one of my many boardgames) and we'll get something organized.

Quick notice to everyone that at the moment we will NOT be running a Sunday Session in May owing to Mother's Day; however, if we have enough interest in running a session, we will endeavour to run a full-day session on an alternate day (and alternate venue if need be)

Photo of our opening game of the 'Heroes Of The Aturi Cluster' co-op X-wing from last night, shortly before 2 Tie Interceptors spawned behind my BTL-A4 Y-Wing and unsurprisingly, showed me just how quickly they can chew through shields and hull of an Ag1 ship at close range.

luckily, I succeeded on my 'Ejection' roll, and we won the encounter, but my days of being squad leader didn't last long...
