The ShowBiz Club, Melbourne, is for people involved professionally, presently or in the past in the entertainment industry. television, radio, stage, theatre and many music genres, some of Melbourne's premium jazz musos, singers of ballads, jazz, rock and country numbers and comedians, magicians, clowns and agents all take a night off to socialize. We meet on the 4th Monday of the month for dinner

from 6:30 pm at the Bentleigh Club, Yawla Street, Bentleigh (Melway: 68 B11). Internet:- http://www.thebentleighclub.com.au/

The order of play is determined by a whiteboard and the drawing of lots at the start. Voluntary performing starts around 8 pm by members and guests that usually ends up in a "jam session". The room has a grand piano and we supply a drum kit and PA system. The kitchen closes after 8 pm. Owing to time contraints, there can only be 11 performances, each limited to a maximum of 2 numbers. Major performers e.g. vocalists, may only do a total of 2 numbers, even with more than one band. Visitors need to be be invited by a current member of the club and pay an entry fee of $5.
