For Wilkerrs 2nd birthday we wanted to give him something that would carry meaning far beyond the day itself. Something he could keep with him throughout his cultural journey.
I asked a close brother of mine to woodburn this kangaroo skin for him. It was important to us that it came from someone who is deeply connected to his culture like Tyler is and because we believe when something is created with that connection, Care and intention, A part of the maker’s spirit lives within the piece.
That’s what we wanted for our fulla. Something made with purpose that carries culture, Story, Connection and Spirit by someone special to us like Tyler is.
Something he can grow with and learn from and one day truly understand the meaning behind this piece.
A gift for the lads 2nd birthday, But also something he will carry with him for a lifetime. ❤️
