Forgotten how good these CAPI VP28 sound on a drum bus all the good stuff punch weight snap transient shaping compression
Along with the Burl B32 BX5 then more goodness on the capture into the Burl ADC Bomber a killer vibe
I definitely use less plugins nowadays with this setup things come together way quicker and smoother

Can’t say enough great things about these AML73 preamps
Legit Neve Tone
Between these and JLM Audio NV500 i can’t see a reason you would pay for a new Neve
Absolutely anything Joe makes is nothing short of incredible

If you can DIY these are incredible value even assembled both these pres still cheaper than Neve

Also mention DIY RE I hear these are pretty awesome to
