I don’t think you ever really realise how much this career shapes you. 🤍
The children you never forget. The families who trust you with the most important little people in their world. The tiny moments that stay with you long after the day is over.
Being an educator is so much more than what people see from the outside. It’s building relationships, being someone’s safe place, celebrating the smallest wins and getting to watch little people slowly become more and more themselves.
And somewhere along the way, we grow too.
I’m incredibly grateful for every child and family who has allowed me to be a small part of their story.
But today, I’m especially grateful for the educators who have been part of mine.
To the educators I’ve worked beside, learnt from, looked up to and been supported by…. thank you.
You have all shaped little pieces of the teacher I am today, and I’ll always be grateful for that.
