These were at the same gallery in Catania that I posted about yesterday.. rather lovely dedication to the literary word of book collections.. almost seems a lost love in today’s world. They looked like glass but on closer observation they were acrylic painted and some were lit. Love the pastel colours..

My first gallery visit on this this little jaunt to Italy.. I found this private sponsored gallery in Catania Sciliy. A contemporary exhibition, some owned by the gallery and some on loan. My favourite was this installation, owned by gallery, by Roberto Fabelo Mundi KZa . Three huge balls suspended . One of coal. One of cockroaches and last of bullet shells ..
Very power statement and one of the best installs I have seen in a while. The rest of the two floors held some wonderful works.. I shall post soon.

colourful , expressive, an inside view into the headspace of individual connected to land and heart.
a wonderful opening with many Valley artists celebrating this show with him. Entertainment from Jason Winn ( Also local connected) and his partner Elizabeth Robinson playing some jaw dropping music.. (wow) support from ..
SO if you are out and about, stop in Wollombi and check out his stuff.

In Our little whirl around town , it was a delightful respite and familiar faces. Don’t forget to take a quick chilling drink on the corner at the city brewery.. smiles all around.
