Father's day is this weekend! Now, I'm not one to encourage capitalism for the sake of capitalism... but have you considered whether your dad might NEED a rusty metal friend!? Is there a fence post that could do with a permanent guardian? Could a corten steel creature crafted by me fit the bill?

I love the ocean. I think I am particularly drawn to the world of sea creatures in my sculptures because when you suspend them in the air, it is as if you are peeking at them swimming in the water. There's a grace and lack of gravity that you can achieve that you can't quite capture with the land creatures. Plus, there's some pretty cool animals living under the waves. What animal would you like to see in sculpture?

This beautiful seadragon really does have the spot. The way the sun shines through the glass 😍
So happy to continue my seadragon journey with this private commission, I don't think I will ever get tired of them! I am starting to use a bit of paint on my sculptures and really love the bright bright red of this fan coral (which ties in with a colour theme in the garden).

Sometimes the shadows seen on the back of my stall are better than the view from the front!! Here is my sneaky spotted-tailed quoll looking particularly sneaky..... what mischief is he up to? I've been a bit quiet on here lately and frankly I'm enjoying not looking at social media as much! But I wanted to jump on and share the cockatoos in their new home in NSW. The sun shining through the yellow glass really pops against the beautiful green grass.
Rest assured I am still making sculptures and you can find me at Salamanca market in site 305 each Saturday.
