Dreamscape Artists made "Insectarium" against a neon garden for Daly Bay Illuminate this year, with a gorgeous projection that featured insect drawings by young artists from Pioneer State High, Mackay State High and Holy Spirit College.

Illuminate is on at Queens Park on for the next three nights, if you're in Mackay!

Thanks to RADF Mackay for their concept development support, and to Mackay Festivals for staging this fabulous event :)

Mackay's beloved winter light display is back and better than ever in 2024! Here's some information to get you ready for next week. 💫

⏰ 6pm - 9pm
📍 Queens Park, Goldsmith Street

🚌 We have FREE, wheelchair accessible buses looping approximately every 35 minutes to and from 3 locations. No booking required, available until full.

We're inviting the public to participate in our digital projections by following these simple steps: draw your favourite flying insect in black felt pen on A4 paper, take a clear scan or photo, and send it to us via Facebook messenger.
