Love cooking, weekends outdoors and a workplace that’s anything but ordinary?

Wake House Australia is looking for a talented Café Cook or Chef to join our crew.

We’re after someone who can prep like a pro, bake some seriously good sweets, and punch out a busy breakfast rush on the weekends.

This isn’t your traditional kitchen. You’ll be working at a wake park, surrounded by water, action and a relaxed outdoor atmosphere. If you’re a little sporty, love the outdoors and want to work somewhere with a great vibe, this could be your kind of gig.

THE ROLE
🔥 Café-style cooking & food prep
🍰 Baking sweets, slices & treats
🥓 Smashing out the weekend breakfast rush
🤙 Working with a fun, energetic crew
🌴 No late nights!

Consistent set hours every week:
Wednesday & Thursday: 12pm – 6pm
Friday: 12pm – 8pm
Saturday & Sunday: 7am – 2pm

SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT✌🏽
The Lakeside Cafe and Wake Park will be closed for a scheduled winter maintenance from Monday 03 August to Thursday 20 August 2026.

As some of you already know we have a bunch of building renovations happening this year, rolling out in 4 stages. We are super exciting to get started, this being stage 1 of the works and our general winter maintenance.

We will be re-opening and back to normal on Friday 21 August 2026 at 12noon.

All pass holders, your passes will be paused during this time, thanks for your understanding while we continue to improve the place for your enjoyment 🫶🏽

Apparently it's winter? It's still 20degrees and sunny here but here's a WINTER SPECIAL DEAL for you this week anyway 😉 2 FOR 1 ride tickets from 23-26July 2026.

Cable-Wakeboarding Instructors
~ must have experience operating a full size cable wakeboarding machine
~ be able to wakeboard and kneeboard
~ be able to teach and have patience teaching all ages
~ First aid and CPR certificates advantageous

With the sun setting earlier we are moving to our WINTER HOURS.... from 1st of June the session times will be different!!! So make sure you check the calendar on our website BEFORE rocking up or booking in.

Main changes;
> The park will CLOSE on Monday + Tuesdays but we are
> keeping Wake up Wednesday morning rides from 6.30am-8am
> Grom 2.0 will also stay on Wed arvo + Sun morning.
> all 3 month passes + memberships will be able to ride a BONUS second session daily during WINTER (June - August)

The weather is absolutely beautiful here through winter, just grab a wetty and keep riding / we have brand new RIPCURL rental wetsuits available for $10 per session.

Can’t get enough of this beautiful weather! our Lakeside Cafe and Sunset Bar is open every Friday with live music in May from 5pm! Friday knock off drinks sounds good to us 😉
