Yes there are a lot of fabulous people in this photo!

Last Saturday night Cathie enjoyed a Nudie Rudie to celebrate her Hen’s party with her nearest and dearest. What a magnificent crowd of people they turned out to be. Even our model Blake said “they were the best crowd”
Everyone was so happy for Cathie. They laughed, they ate, they drank, they had a wonderful night. Congratulations Cathie. We are sure your wedding this Saturday will be more than joyous surrounded by such fun loving family and friends. Thank you for choosing Bottletops & Brushes to be part of your memories. We feel honoured.

We just received a NUDIE RUDIE Xmas party booking with a request-could the model dress as Santa?

And you know what? The model already has a Santa suit at home! No kidding. But these photos are from our last 2026 Nudie Rudie public event which was held last Friday night in our upstairs studio. As usual I could hear laughter and everyone enjoying themselves from the downstairs studio. I also watched everyone leave with great big smiles. It was obviously an enjoyable night out doing something a little bit different.

DATE NIGHT for this couple and Mark turned his nose up!

Mark said to the gentleman “surely you don’t want to paint this girly painting?” The gentleman basically replied “it’s Date Night for us so whatever makes her happy will make me happy”. Now there is a wise man!

Bottletops & Brushes offical Date Night for October is this coming Saturday night however this couple enjoyed their Date Night at our After Work Quickie paint & sip last Friday evening at 5.30pm then followed it with dinner somewhere delicious.

Don’t they make a lovely couple 💕

Ever seen a butterfly that didn’t catch your eye? There’s just something about them that you have to look at.

This coming Saturday afternoon you could be creating your own and using whatever colours you choose. You don’t need any experience in creating Texture Art because it’s so much fun - just follow along and magic happens. It’s like nature….ok…sometimes it’s a disaster but it’s always fixable! 😂🤣😂

All materials and step by step guidance are supplied

Mark and I had started Bottletops & Brushes a year before when our neighbors said “What actually is a paint & sip?”
so we held a paint & sip party on our deck and showed them.
We’ve now been painting and sipping for 7 years 🤪

Liz hates surprises!

However, Her family thought it was worth a go and organised a paint & sip party at Liz’s fabulous salon “About Hair” on Shakespeare Street. The family painted too. Liz greeted her long time friends as they arrived and then the most delicious food from Bings Nomiya arrived as well. Of course we immediately stopped painting as, you know, great food….

Happy birthday Liz 🥳🎨🎉
