We are delighted to introduce Izzy Roberts-Orr as Director of Mountain Writers’ Festival. Appointed in January, Izzy has been leading the development of the festival program alongside Operations Manager Leonie Williams.
A poet, producer and regional arts worker based on Wurundjeri Country near Blackwood, Izzy is a respected arts leader in Australia’s literary sector with a strong commitment to regional practice and literary culture. She is currently Creative Producer at Red Room Poetry, and previously Artistic Director and Co-CEO of the Emerging Writers’ Festival and Co-Director of the National Young Writers’ Festival.
